Name (species).
Juno was a Roman goddess, queen of the gods. She was also the guardian of the Empire's finances and considered the Matron Goddess of all Rome. The month of June was named after her.

Low sensitivity to noise and approximation. Patient model.

Medium. Wingspan of about 7 cm.

Similar species.
Dryas iulia and Eueides aliphera.

Hello Paulo,
A gorgeous close-up shot of this very pretty butterfly from Brazil. The detail is exceptional and colors vivid yet natural. I like the framing and the exposure is perfect.
I remember seeing some butterflies similar to this when I visited your country, but they never perched and allowed me the opportunity to capture a photograph. Well done!!
