Muito legal a foto parece veludo mesmo.
Obrigado por comprarilhar, mto boa a foto mesmo.
Valeu.
Hi Claudio.
This is a Tibouchine or Tibouchina. It is a native of Brazil. There are various coloured flowers. I have a creamy pink one in my garden. Usually they are a beautiful deep violet, and there is a large flowered one, Tibouchina grandiflora.
They are one of my favourite flowering trees. Very easy to grow from cuttings. They sometimes suffer a little frost damage here, but usually recover if the plant is big enough.
Thanks for posting this. Steve.

I know this plant - brilliant purple flowers in summertime, and sometimes there are pink flowers. You make the leaves look like velvet - very well done Claudio. And I love your frame with the leaves outside it. Well done.

Nice work Claudio, the colours and contrast are very good. I would have moved or cloned out some the the extra leaves to simplify the composition. Very bold and effective, well done.
