It is a species of the genus Cattleya.
Habitat is the sandy lowlands and the coast of the State of Rio de Janeiro, called Lakes region,
Plant is large sometimes reaching 1 meter in height. Plant robust, but does not support direct sun on their foliage, so it grows in clumps of bushes of the area, only being noticed when thrives its flowering stem exposes itself to full sun. |
