Hi Francisco,
This impressive hawkmoth is of the genus Adhemarius (Sphingidae, Sphinginae, Smerinthini), most probably A. gannascus. Its larvae feed on Persea, Nectandra, Ocotea.

Best regards,
Dmitry

Very beautiful moth!
Wonderful on colours!
Excellent on details!
Very good DOF and POV!
It's a Sphingidae, but I don't known the specie.
Keep on going and TFS!

Francisco,
this is a great contribution!
That hawk moth is very well presented.
Details and colours are excellent.
The reflected light from the flash on the leave could be reduced by a little postwork to make that picture really perfect.
What a strange tiny creature is sitting near the lower border? You are presenting us a glimpse of a world full ofwonders.
It's not only the carneval that is wonderful in Brazil.
Great picture. Thank you!
Peter

Francisco, gosto da foto. O fundo escuro proporciona um belo contraste.

Também gosto da nitidez e da saturação.

Belo trabalho.

Great job with the color and lighting Francisco. Beautiful moth. Thank you.
