|Toco Toucan (Family: Ramphastidae Species: Ramphastos toco) - Length: 56 cm. Found in nearly all of Brazil, but in Amazônia only in certain unforested regions, this bird is the largest of the toucans and the only species of the family to live in open areas. It usually nests in the hollows of buriti palms, laying two to four small white eggs. The Brazilian names are tucanuçu, tucano-boi (in Rio Grande do Sul), tucano-toco and tucano-pacova.|
(information of Brazil 500 birds)

Fine in-flight capture of a Toco Toucan, pretty sharp and well-composed.
It appears to be carrying a branch, perhaps as nesting material.
TFS, regards, Ivan
Incredible action shot.
Brilliant colors and composition.
Good details for an action shot.
I like the motion blur on the wings.
Including the whole branch would heve been a plus.
Bellissima foto. ciao gigicacco

linda foto. O azul do fundo, o movimento das asas, a tonalidade do bico. Tenho visto muitos tucanos ultimamente, mas oportunidade para fazer um registro desse é outra coisa.
