This capivara (Hydrochaeris hydrochaeris) was confused of its rest the edge of the Correntoso river for the approach of our boat, however it was not bothered very with our presence and it continued its sleep of the beauty.
Capivaras is the erosive greaters of the world and is seen easily in the side of water courses. They are fed mainly of some species of plants of aquatic macrophytes. They walk generally in grops and they are excellent swimmers.

A very nice shot of I believe the worlds biggest rodent,however I thin the colors are a bit oversatured,any way I like the compo,well done and TFS

Beautiful capture (I aggree with WS from Paul thought).
This reminds me when I was in Pantanal: I've seen many of them. I'm glad you managed. I couldn't take a decent photo because of the trilling of the boat.
