[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The genus MARPESIA has about 25-30 species of extravagantly marked and tailed butterflies whose nearest relatives are the famous "map" butterflies of the oriental and Australian regions, and to a lesser extent of the Afrotropical region. They are common butterflies from the Southern USA to Argentina and may be often found simply drinking greedily from flowers or congregated at roadside puddles or sometimes on river banks.

Hello Carlos,

You have captured the image of this butterfly in a fine location. Light reflections on water looks great and makes the image very dinamic. You have shown the butterfly from an unusual POV but as you have exposed well colors and texture of the wings can be clearly seen.

Thank you for sharing,
Cristian
