[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This species is an example of the amazing adaptability of the animals, which over thousands of years of evolution, led to resemble their surroundings, as a means of survival.
I found this specimen on a heliconia leaf, near the creek Mato Giro at an altitude of 295 meters above sea level, near the town of Bonda.

Good example of an amazing camouflage by mimicking perfectly the natural color of the surroundings and imitating the shape of a green leaf. The Nature is perfect isn't it?

A perfect example of camouflage, Mauricio.
This Grasshopper would be difficult to spot amid green foliage. The leaf mimicry is faultless.
Your picture is technically superb and a priceless document on the strange ways of nature.
Thanks.
