Description: This is a very little moth, it is more or less 0.4 cm by 1.5 cm, I don’t know the scientific name or the family. This is not a very sharp picture but the colors are very interesting and that’s the reason why I am sharing it.

Taken in jpeg, cropped and resized. No Flash, ISO 100.

Esta pequeña polilla tiene unos 0.4 cm por 1.5 cm, aunque la foto no es muy buena, pero por sus colores metálicos la comparto.

Place: La Truchera, Jardín, Antioquia, Colombia.

Excellent close-up of this micro moth, the details are beautiful and the copper colour and the pattern amazing. Very nice!!

Hello Juan,
in general the picture of this small moth (probably from the family Adelidae) is very nice, in particular concerning the colours and presentation of the glossy wing surface. However, there is very strong background noise visible all over the picture (I tried a workshop). It would be helpful to have some more details on the picture.

No le perdonaria que no la compartiera,si bien falta algo de nitidez el ejemplar se aprecia completamente y es realmente extraño para mi aprecio poder conocerlo gracias
