Colias dimera,Doubleday, 1847.

Colias dimera is a species of Pierid butterfly recorded from montane locations in Venezuale, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. It is, clearly, related to "Clouded Yellow" types that occur in North America and Europe.

This shot was taken nera Papallacta at 3,400m elevation. Camera was hand held with natural lighting. It has been cropped and resized for TN, with a little subsequent sharpening.
