[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
From my trip to Ecuador.
Ecuador is a difficult place to take picture but it is more awarded. A lot of diversity and beautiful birds. It is difficult if you don't know how to choose the lodges for birds and for the guides.
I want to go this year again and this time I found a perfect place for birds photography.

The Black-capped Tanager is a medium-sized bird in the diverse genus Tangara. As with other species within Tangara, the Black-capped Tanager possesses a bill of medium thickness and short wings and tail. It is one of the few species in the genus that shows obvious sexual dichromatism, with males primarily gry-blue in color with a distinctive black cap, and females yellow-green without a black cap.

Hi Peter, magnificent capture of this tanager, not often seen on TN,the pic looks like a camouflage watching the colors of the habitat very similar to the plumage, great detail and exposure too.Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

Hello Peter
such a beautiful bird in splendid sharpness and details. The eye contact is really well presented.

Beautiful bird in splendid sharpness but the contrast is less due to green BG.
