[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Hatun Machay is a rock formation that looks like a forest in the Huaraz region of Peru where some of the highest mountains are found. In ancient times it was a sacred place where cave drawings and early sculptures were created obviously associated spiritual rituals. Even now as one walks past the rocks some look like the face and reptilian monsters. This photo was taken with a polaroid filter.

The polarizer gave a lot of rich color to your image. I wonder if cropping out some of the sky would give more impact to the landscape and wonderful clouds.
