[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
First of all my apologies for my absence in the last couple of weeks/months, I had first attended my health and then I had just too many other activities that kept me away from you all. With my last posting I reach my first 101 points, a target that I saw unreachable when I joined TN. There have been 1069 visits to my 20 pictures. I am still a beginner that has reached something that I could not even dream before: to be a Silver Note Writer! Looking back at my first postings, I can see that I have come a long way into my journey as an amateur photographer;100 is no big deal but I like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for your advice, support, encouragement, input, ideas, critiques, comments and suggestions.
For this occasion I have chosen a sunset in Caracas, which shines onto the road to be taken by me in order to continue improving my status of amateur photographer. You guys have given me the current knowledge of photography and improved my knowledge of nature due to your published information.
Thank you!

Hello Rolf!

Nice sunset shot, glad you're loving TN, I to think it's great and I've only been here for three weeks! Congrats on getting your first 100, I'm sure they'll be many more.

Concerning your post I think it is a great composition with the silhouetted building and mountain lines, however it lacks punch due to the hazyness of the image probably caused by the angle of the sun and your high POV.

I have run it through CS2 and improved the contrast etc vastly improving the shot, however I cannot post this till at least tomorrow as I have other workshops I was supposed to upload also today!

All the best, TFS
Simon
