A delightful beach scene Jose Miguel.
I think the highlight for me is the clouds though.
Those beautiful cumulus and high cirrus clouds look great,and they are so clear.
Tell me if I'm wrong,but did you aim your camera high so you could capture the blue of the sky? Its just that the clouds look clearer than the foreground features.
These digital cameras can be tricky to get everything just right in shots like this can't they?
A beautiful shot though.

Excellent use of the f22 on the wide angle on this seascape to give a fantastic DOF from the FG mangrove roots to the horizon. The composition give interesting aspects of the picture: the mangrove roots, the lagoon with corals, the breakwater showing by the breakers and the headland in the distance backed by attractive cloud formations, all of which make this seascape both interesting and a joy to view.

Sounds like you are having fun with RAW. I would love to but do not have the time. This water is slightly different in color that I would expect. Travel pictures always show it a different color of blue. It looks as though your picture is closer to the truth. Fine image Jose.

Este Cayo Pereza parece un lugar paradisíaco. ¡Qué preciosidad! No me extraña que tuvieras que esperar para encontrar un huequito sin gente.
Me dan ganas de meter los pies en ese agua tan clara.
Lo del Monte Chichiriviche suena graciosísimo, seguro que es un lugar digno de ver.
Espero que sigas mostrándonos más fotos de este Parque Nacional. Para mí está por desgracia demasiado lejos para que pueda ir a visitarlo.
Me encanta la composición que has elegido en esta toma, con esos arbustos tan curiosos en primer plano y esas nubes tan preciosas en el intenso azul del cielo.

Hi Jose.
I like your experience with Nikon so much. First of all you have selected POV and object for shooting perfectly. The combination of broken tree as a FG and calm seascape as a BG is great. DOF is perfect as well as the sharpness of all image. Exposure and contrast are excellent too. May be the level of saturation is not the best but I think the truth is more important. Excellent changing of subject. My bet wishes and TFS. Excellent job.

Hi José!

It's an outstanding picture with a perfect lighting management. Even if the polarizer may help, it's not easy not to burn the whites. But your clouds still are full of details. I also appreciate the composition: the spectator's eyes are led into the image by the line of the beach.

Wow, wonderful first outing in RAW. This is wonderfully composed, with a nice balance of fg (tree), mg (beach), and bg (clouds). I was looking to see if you had used a grad filter to match the exposure between the sky and water, but then I realized that since you used RAW, you have more dynamic range. I'm looking forward to more vacation photos.

This is a rather unusuall photo from you, but a nice one none-the-less.
I really like the interesting composition you tried to create here with the dried drift wood on the left and the vivid colors on the right and behind the wood...sort of a contrast between death and life one would say...
Anyway, i really like the colors everywhere in your picture as well as the good perspective - that lovely shoreline that takes the view all the way to the horizon.
The exposure is a bit too high for my taste, but then again, that only one man's point of view.
Overall: a very good work!
