Pale-banded Crescent - Anthanassa tulcis (H. Bates, 1864)

Hello friends!

Well, I finally bought a "entry level" DSLR! ... After seeing dozens of reviews, I chose a Nikon D3100... Even I have no budget for a Macro lens, the single 18-55mm lens that comes in the kit is enough to take some photos humble of the butterflies in my garden, and at the same time I can learn how to handle this camera! ...

Taking pictures, looking through a viewfinder with changing numbers is quite different from what I did with a compact!

But I'm sure I have lots of fun with this camera ...

I think by now, this camera helps me to learn and experience more of photography. But do not think I can put aside my Canon compact when I go to explore the forests in search of rare butterflies, which I quickly focus and capture, before they disappear!

I Hope you like!

Happy week end for all!
