Hello Jesus,
this a really fine close-up shot, worth to be late to your job.
It's nice to see balance the flash with the natural light in a fine way. we still have a fine BG with good light, most got a complete black BG when use a flash, not nice when you shot a day-living insect, you managed more than well. It also nice to see you used a tripod, the best friend to macro-photographer. Very good sharpens even with 1/5 sec. Fine natural colours and accurate WB at least on my Lap-top.
First class picture, mf

Hi Jesus,
Arriving late to work because you've seen something and photographed... Hm, sounds familiar. :) Someone not having this hobby can't imagine how great it is to arrive to the office after you photographed a mushroom, a bird, a butterfly etc. and you're satisfied with the result. This makes your whole day! I'm not at all surprised this superb photo made your whole day, it's simply incredible. Fantastic color palette, bombastic sharpness, pleasing composition, well blurred and completely noise-free background. Very good use of flash (without distorting the natural colors), everything seems totally natural, even lights, even with such a long exposure - and WB is accurate on my monitor also, not only on Gert's laptop. :) Top class work, huge congratulations, amigo.
Gracias, saludos, László

Perfect detail, excellent composition and background. A really beautiful butterfly. regards yiannis

Hello Jesus,
When I was in Brazil a few years ago I took a photo of a butterfly which looks almost exactly like this little beauty of yours. I didn't know the species at that time, but I believe it is the same or close to yours.
Love the vivid contrasting colors and exceptional detail you managed to capture. Lighting is perfect and DOF is superb. Truly a work of art and a pleasure to view. Well worth being late for work. Great job!!
