La foto estupenda estimado amigo, la cara del amigo... una cirugía estética por aquí!.
Excelente primer plano con marcados detalles e intensos colores que resaltan por el despegue de la silueta sobre el contrastante fondo, gracias al ajustado DOF utilizado.
Me encanta la elección del recorte con el ave apareciendo por el vértice de la escena.
No mencionas el uso del flash y tampoco aparece ese dato en el EXIF, pero el brillo del ojo y del pico me hace sospechar... si puedes aclárame ese detalle por favor.
La imagen tiene 140Kb. aprox... creo que los usuarios de Photoshop deberán buscar la fórmula para optimizar la compresión y lograr archivos más cercanos a los 200Kb. permitidos (personalmente creo que esa diferencia incide en la calidad de la imagen).

Este pobre creo que eligió mal la peluquería, no sólo le cortaron mal el pelo sino que le abrasaron la cabeza con el secador! Ji,ji.
Fuera bromas, la foto es realmente alucinante. Me encanta la mirada del zamuro. A pesar de lo feucho parece tener cierta ternura (aunque no quisiera comprobarlo, por si acaso). La verdad es que es un ave impresionante, y la información adjunta es muy interesante.
Una foto extraordinaria!

Oh my, my... I know those guys quite well as I see them flying around the mountain here in the summer. I fact, I can look at them from my backyard and I am always impress to see them fly. I really enjoy their great gliding skills. I often see them in group of 5 to 10 individual. I have some pictures of them to but never that close. In fact, it is the first time I see one from so close, cause this is close! Those guys aren't really nice to me but they are majestic from a distance :)

This is an EXCELLENT portrait of this special looking bird. Details, lightning, exposure, POV and composition are just great! Thanks for showing me this bird from so close, now I will exactly know what I am admiring when spring will come back :)... TFS,

A beautiful capture, a very ugly bird!

Great shot, you've got fantastic detail being so close. It looks as though he's just been into the barbers! The colour saturation is excellent and it is composed well. I like the BG also.

Reading your note first was necessary to understand why this vulture has gone bald prematurely like me :-)!!

Para mí esta foto es una foto extraordinaria y el texto, tan educativo y orientador es sumamente completo que no tengo que acudir a ninguna literatura para conocer de este zamuro.

excellent shot of this vulture.Well beauty is really a subjective thing and this subject has its own sort of beauty,so I will not insult its looks.It looks this way so when it is eating carrion feathers will not get caught in animal carcass's or dirty up with carnage and gore.This picture has superb detail and I find nothing wrong with any detail of it.TFS. This is another great portrat from you!
I can't really say that this is a beautiful animal...let's face it...it's not really that adorable like a baby lion or tiger :)), but it's definately a very imprtant animal to their ecosystem and therefore i asteem it very much.
The details and textures are very nice and clear, the DOF is outstanding - isoalting the subject very well - and the lighting is also impeccable.

Hi Jose,

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder isn't it?! That and the fact that beauty is only an attribute attached by humans from the incidental outcome of functionality in nature...but it doesn't matter one way or the other anyway as this is a great photo! Pose, colours, details everything is brilliant.
(i actually think he's got quite a cute expression on his face, a little bit maudlin perhaps?

Another great portrait! Perfect pose. Well exposed and focussed. Sharp and detailed. Texture is remarkable. The background is nicely out of focus and its colour is pleasing however I would have cloned out the darker areas especially on the upper left corner as they take the attention away from your beautiful subject. Your note is very informative. I especially like the bald head explanation. Well done.
