Here a shot I took in the afternoon, picture was a bit underexposed on purpose to get the shadow effects,it was only a try (after an idea of Xplorator);I added a warming filter to add the orange colors,I liked it that the bird just took of when I clicked awaw,

Hope you like it and TFW

Hi,
A very magical scene you've caught here,
Lovely orange light and very sharp.
The composition is excellant!
Well done,
Joey

Hello Paul,
I agree with Claude's observation, it looks like a movie scene. I like the use of warming filter that creates a good mood. The timing to catch those two animals in the same frame was excellent. It is nicely composed with nice subjects and atmosphere. Well done!
Claudine

Hi Paul,
It is a very special "ambiance" you created.
It gives a special feeling the evening sun and the warmth is coming to you great work. And did you see the bird or was it an extra when you saw the picture.

Hi Paul,
Magnificent postcard from the famous Krugerpark!
I like so much the almost duotone of this picture.
I think it worked pretty well the warming filter added.
With the jiraffe and the bird you did a remarkable composition here.
Congratulations and thanks for share it.
My best regards,
JM
