[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Its been a fair while since I posted anything and now that its Spring its warm enough to take photos again. It looks like Spring is starting to kickin here in China and the insects are all coming out. The bees are going crazy with all the flowers blooming and I find they are a good subject to practise macro shots.

Now this is supburb. Perfect exposure, perfect sharpness and details. Composition is awesome. If I had to nitpic anything the only thing I could say is the bright light on the forward flower peddle. Other than that the photo is just awesome.

Hello Matthew!
Bees and wasps are not easy to photograph. They are really fast and usually do not want to cooperate (sometimes even use their stings! ;>)
Here you done it very good. Details are nice and sharp, POV is interesting, and the BG very beauty.
Best greetings from Lodz,

Ps. I just saw that this photo was taken this year, well... when such high temperature will be present in Lodz... ;>

Hi Matt

VYes...it's been a fair while...very nice to see you back!
This is a very nice macro work an one that really does represent spring :)
The colors here are terrific and very well saturated and the details are razor-sharp and very clear.
I also like the DOF you chose here - keeping the bee in very good focus while blurring the BG superbly.
Excellent lighting and exposure, nice framing and lovely composition.

Bravo and TFS

Hi Matt, great shot of this bee. It's very well composed with him hanging down from the flower, you've filled the framevery nicely. Your depth of field is bang on giving us a nice sharp bee and flower while blurring out the background. Great colour and detail. You even have a catch light? Not sure what I would have expected but I was surprised and happy to see this.

Thanks, John

bonjour matthew
j'aime beaucoup le BF rose du même ton que la fleur sur laquelle se trouve l'abeille, parfaitement nette et detaillée.
