[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Ptyodactylus puiseuxi Boutan, 1893 is known as "Kuzey yelpaze parmaklı keleri" or "Northern fan-footed gecko".
It ranges in the Mediterranean region, Israel, Jordan, Syria and Irak. The area extends to N Saudi Arabia along with the black desert lava rocks common in NE Jordan.
It hides into rock crevices and it starts feeding activities after dark. However, it may be observed at daytime in the shade of rocks and near caves.
It was seen mainly on basalt rocks and carstic formation.

A great photo, the lizard looks like it has been painted onto the lava rock it sits on.

Geckos are one of my favourite reptile group so I am always watching pictures presenting them with great pleasure. And this one is no exception, especially that you presented a species which was not known for me :)
And even if DOF could be a little better I still like a lot your image.
Thank you also for note, without it the presentation would not be so complete and interesting :)

wow a lvely shot of this lizard. the full detailed in somehow of a camouflages is well depicted.
