[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Lake of the Woods is one of the most popular destinations within Cathedral Provincial Park. Getting here is either via a grueling 8 hour hike or a 75.00 ride in a Unimag to a nearby summer resort. From there it's a 20 minute hike to this lake and it's campground.
Mt. Lakeview is to the left and Mt. Grimface is to the right.

Hi Tim,
I did a double take at this location's name as the only Lake of the Woods I knew of is the very large one in Ontario. This lake is every bit as nice as the big one and better as it has mountains over looking it.The picture has a peaceful feel to it and the weather the day you took it looks to have been very good as well. The reflected background is nice in the fairly still water, with good colour and focus,I like this one Tim.TFS Bob

Hi Tim,

Very impressive.
Great reflections and how the tree line just follow the curves of the mountains is splendid. Beautiful composed.

Thanks,
Christian

You didn't say which option you chose. Knowing you, probably the grueling 8 hour hike! It is a beautiful spot... I agree, even nicer than the other Lake of the Woods. It all looks technically perfect to me. Thanks for showing us yet again another magic place in BC.

Hi Tim,
I see you went into you archives as well. This is for sure a wonderful image of this awesome looking mountain lake. I do however see that it was taken with a slightly older camera. There is some noise and odd colors visable, but nothing to make the view less beautiful.
TFS,
Niek
