[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Seems we found quite a few varieties of fungi on our last hike. Of course it makes sense since we live in a rain forest. Some parts of the forest get 100+ inchese of rain a year. It is a very unusually warm and dry winter/spring. Normally these trails have too much snow to reach the top of any of the peaks. I thought this fungi was very interesting and the bright white caught my eye.

Interesting fungi Julie.Very much like something I've been seeing lately, although I've no idea what it is.
100 inches of rain is fairly impressive, although a little bit less than the average rainfall in Blackball, (the little minig town on the South Islands West Coast that we're moving to soon).I'm just going to look for N.Bonneville in the atlas...if its there.

Good capture Julie! I found similiar fungus here in Poland. Yours is well photographed with nice surroundings. Good work!
