This portrait of a European Lynx was taken through 50mm x 50mm square wire mesh, By pushing the lens tight to the mesh, the camera ignores it most of the time.
Taken at the Chateau de la Bourbansais in Brittany on a day out.
I had never seen a Lynx before, anywhere.
Camera settings:- ISO 200, AV, Spot metering, 400mm focal length, hand held.

Hi Peter, superb shot of this beautiful Lynx. The detail and texture couldn't be better. A really excellent close up. Great tip about lens up aganst the wire, I must try it! Beautiful composition.
