[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
During my visit in Tanzania I saw a lot of crocodiles, but the only opprtunity to get good pictures of these animals in motion was during a boat safari. This one had a fisher net hanging in its teeth!

Beautyful shot, great composition an excellent FOV. The bird on background makes the image "live", with the crocodile that becomes part of a whole - far better than seeing the crocodile alone.

Good work!

Hi Tom,
It is a big one...and it is moving indeed.
A bit unplugged but you are on a safari after all.

Impressive capture, Tom!!
It must be thrilling to be so close to one beast of such a size and teeth!
I hope he didn't eat the fisher!
Excellent sharpness and great POV and composition.
My compliments and TFS.

My goodness...a shot of a lifetime here! Really incredible. I've seen a lot of photos of crocodiles...but this may be one of the more spectacular photos I've seen. The colors and setting...and the way this big croc is suspended just above the water is really quite impressive.

A very nice image of this croc and the blurred background with the birds adds interest to the whole photograph

Hi Tom,
WOW fantastic croc shot, nice to see him out of the water, thanks for sharing this superb image.
Rick

Poor croc. The net will probably remain there one year long. Must be tempting for them to steal from the fisher nets.
Excelent capture. Crisp clear. Nice eyes. POV from thewater level is brilliant. It makes the moving croc even more majestic.
Framing is quite tight on the right but it is not disturbing.
