[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The shot was taken during last weeken in Har Halutz, Western Galilee.
Galilee (Hebrew: הגליל ha-Galil, Arabic: الجليل al-Jaleel), meaning "circuit", is a large region overlapping with much of the North District of Israel. It is traditionally divided into three regions:
- The Upper Galilee
- The Lower Galilee
- The Western Galilee
The Western Galilee, also called the "Northern Coastal Plain", stretches from north of Haifa up to Rosh HaNikra on the border between Israel and Lebanon.
Most of the Galilee consists of rocky terrain, at heights of about 500-700 meters. There are several high mountain such as Mount Tabor and Mount Meron. The relatively low tempartures and the large amounts of rainfall every year made the Galilee a center of flora and wildlife, and many birds pass by every year in their migration and create an attraction. The Hulah Valley resort is a welcoming home for them. The streams and waterfalls, the latter mainly in the Upper Galilee, along with vast fields of greenery and colorful wildflowers make it a popular tourist attraction in Israel.

I see a Calendula bud, a tulip seedbox, and can't think of the name of the bloomin' flowers... BUT I like the colours!

Nice to see this Spring(?) collection from "the Circuit", tfs, Jay

Hi Alex,
A pleasant bouquet of flowers with a complimentary set of colours.Does seem a touch dark though so I took away some of the shadows in a workshop....hope you don't mind. You have your camera marked down as "Nikon N80" you need to change that.Hope you are enjoying your new "toy".Take care and Shabat Shalom!
Regards, David

wonderful flowers, alex, would be nice to have them in the garden.
pretty colors, well composed with good sharpness on the orange ones, just as david mentioned it seems a little bit dark - the WS is good.
