Hello Thanh,
A very warm welcome to TN. This is a lovely image of this great looking Heron. I like the way you have cropped it. It would be nice if you could include some notes about the bird and where the image was taken etc.
Cheers,
Debbie

wonderfull capture, sharpnes, and color this photo

Hello Thanh, :)

This is a wonderful first post on TN! Great sharpness and detail in this heron, with wonderful colours and composure.

I would like to say that this is a Grey Heron and not a Blue. Herons are my favorite subjects and I have misidentified one on here before :| So I just wanted to pass on a friendly note to you! Take care an I look forward to seeing more of your work on TN. Very well done.

Ange

Hi Thanh,

This is a nice shot, but with a little work, I think you could improve it. The focus is nice and sharp, but there is some loss of detail in the over exposed highlights. That might be fixable with some PP.

Compositions with the main subject perfectly centered in the frame are generally not very interesting. A little extra space on the (left) side that the subject is facing is generally better. Check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rule_of_thirds

Hi Thanh,
nice debut photo upload to TN.A very well focused shot of this heron with good colour and point of view. The background works well as it does not distract one's eye, well done on your first.Tfs. Bob

A warm welcome to TN,Thank.
An excellent shot of this great blue egret.
He is really posing for you.
A perfect point of view of his whole body,
with sharp details on all his markings.
It is true that the grey heron and the great blue heron look very similar,
but I would say that this is a great blue heron (Ardea herodias) because the grey heron does not live in the Americas.
This is indeed a great place to learn about nature and about photography.
Thank you for sharing.
ManYee
