The White-faced Saki (Pithecia pithecia), also known as the Guianan Saki and the Golden-faced Saki, is a species of saki monkey, a type of New World monkey, found in Brazil, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela. This monkey mostly feed on fruits, but also nuts, seeds, and insects.

There are two recognized subspecies of this monkey:

Pithecia pithecia pithecia
Pithecia pithecia chrysocephala

Hi Annick
I think that in this situation flash will make better result giving you faster shutter speed and better with details. Interesting species. You have lot of documentary shot from many parts of the world and this is your way to explore.

Hi Annick,

You got pretty close to such a wild animal! Not just because of the 200 mm lense, but I can even see you stand in the reflection in his eyes! A 'wild' look in his eyes, but that seems to be about it with this one :-)
