Hi Laurent.
Your macro shot is so impressive. Great POV, magnification ratio and lovely eyes. Colour palette of the shot is so pleasant. OE a bit petals are not a point. Work with flash is very good. Now at macro shooting with flash I prefer take some underexposed pictured applying exposure (or flash) compensation. Picture is composed very well too. My compliments and TFS.

Are you sure it is Eristalinus Sepulchralis. I referred to a local publication, that lists this fly as Eristalinus Aeneus.
As regards the shot, it is simply outstanding, with very nice POV, excellent compo and brilliant DOF. Deatil and colours are magnificent.

This is really a terrific macro shot!
I'm impressed by the level of magnification here and the fantastic details you managed to get out of such a small subject.
The colors (especially its eyes) are outstanding and the frontal POV is very good and makes teh post even more interesting.
Very good DOF and exposure, too.
