Hi Emma,
I am glad you are feeling better again and glad to see you back posting wonderful Sctoland. This is another marvelous winter scenery that became even better with the morning fog and frost. I love the clean look of the photo and its composition. That one tree really is a great eyecatcher. A very wonderful moody photo.
TFS,
Niek
Hi Emma,
sorry to hear you've not been well, hope you are on the mend :o)
This is great, the panoramic works really well and the position of each tree is placed perfectly within the frame. Nice clean colours enhance the overall frosty theme and the mist partially obscuring the mountain (a Munro perhaps!?) adds an excellent backdrop to the treeline. Great work!

Paul

Hi Emma,
Stunning scene from Scotland!
Very impressed by the colour on the foreclose ground, suppouse it must be the effect of the ice.
The floating fog so low creates a very enigmatic mood here, whilst it lets see some part of the mountain at back.
Glad to know you're better.
Congratulations and thanks for share it.
My best regards,
JM

Hello Emma,
Sorry to hear that you've been unwell! Hope you're better now. - I don't suppose the mist here is good for you either but this is a wonderful capture of it! Great depth of focus and sharp details of those lovely frosty trees too. I very much like the gentle pastel colours. Great composition!
TFS and best wishes, Ulla

Hi Emma.
What an unusual and pleasant colour palette of the picture and great pictured view. Combination of foggy BG and extremely sharp main subject is amazing as well as the impressive POV and excellent DOF. Perfect done and TFS.

Hi Emma
Sorry to hear about your condition. I really hope you'll be better as soon as possible and back on some trip with a great and warmer weather this time :)
This is again a splendid shot and one great to see no matter the season :)
The quality here is great and the view is spectacular! The "icy" feeling is terrific and the panorama crop sure gives it the wide impression, despite the zoom.
The exposure here is spot-on and the contrast between the bark of the trees and the snow and ice is splendid.
The mist in the distance makes the shot even more moody and enhances the overall composition well.
Charming work!
Bravo and TFS

Hi Emma,
Nice panorama, the ice and brown reminds me of a western Canadian winter. I like the compression here provided by the 105mm. It reminds me of one of your earlier shots I remember you said you shot off your balcony in your nightgown. This is very dramatic. Not only the subject with the ice, but also the lighting works very well. IMHO I think just a little less on the bottom and a little more on the top might make the shot feel a bit more balanced to me, and might be even more dramatic if there is more mountain or sky that can be revealed.
Mike
P.S. Here's to feeling better soon! (When classes are out?)

Hello Emma,
what a wonderful landscape, it would be interesting to see more mountains. But that we see it's enough to consideres this one a sharp, clean and neat image. Greetings & wishes.
