[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Despite its name, the waterbuck (Kobus ellipsiprymnus), while it likes to live near water, doesn't enter it.
According to Wikipedia, a waterbuck's flesh has an unpleasant taste. "Lions will not kill them unless their hunger is such that they become less choosy." Well, perhaps that's because it wasn't cooked. I ate grilled waterbuck at the famed "Carnivore" restaurant in Nairobi and found it delicious. One beast's meat is another beast's poison!
This was shot with my "antique" Minolta XD-11 and a
200 mm Vivitar teleobjective, which accounts for the "fuzziness".

Hi Michael.
I think POV could not be lower. Very unusual and impressive device. I like this picture so much. Nice pictured scene and reproduction of this animal, excellent composition of the shot, lovely colours and very good details. My compliments and best wishes.
