[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was about to leave my house to eat with my family when I heard a rustling overhead. This baby, who could hardly flu, fell down onto the grass infront of me. It tried to flap its wings, but it hopped towards the road.

I chased behind it, making sure it wouldn't go near the road. The bird was helpless, and was screeching for mom. It took refuge under this pine tree. I was standing about 2 feet from it, and it wasn't scared of me a bit because I guess it knew I was only taking a pic.

Anyway, about 5 minutes later, mom, dad, and a couple other birds came to its rescue. If anyone knows what bird this is, please let me know.

What an interesting photo, nice POV. Well exposed, I love the backlighting. Color and detail are very nice.

I can see that you were shooting between the branches of the pine tree, and they've blurred in the foreground which is a bit distracting. Some things you can't avoid, though, when an opportunity like this presents itself. :-) You could try cropping it a little more to eliminate some of the branches on the left and in the lower right corner.

On the whole, though, it is a very nice photo and I commend you for keeping the baby safe until help arrived. Afraid I can't help with an ID... hope you find out.

Well done and TFS, Mish
