It's a beautiful clean and clear photo with outstanding exposure and great colors. Razor sharp focus produced outstanding details. The low POV is perfect. Great reflection and nice glint of light in eye. My preference would be to leave more space on right. The crop is a little tite. The subject has no "place to go." Nevertheless, it is outstanding photo.

voilà une image comme je les aime, maîtrisée dans les lumières et esthétique. Excellente idée que d'avoir intégrer le reflet, ça complète bien l'image en donnant de la vitesse. Netteté presque parfaite (ws) et pas de bruit résiduel.

Bonjour Marie,
Image d'un grand calme, malgré le mouvement. Les couleurs sont très harmonieuses, l'eau et le Grand Bec ayant pratiquement la même coloration.

Superbe capture de cet oiseau magnifique Marie. Le WS a accentué a netteté mais ça demeure une excellent photo avec une belle atmosphère et mouvement. J'adore ces oiseaux que je ne vois pas souvent. Les couleurs, la prise de vue et la réflection sont très belles. Merci!

Hi Marie,
This is a great image of this duck. Nice low POV. It is so different to any duck I have seen in Australia. Its head is quite narrow. The background and the reflections are really incredible you have achieved capturing what I believe is a perfect image.

Salut Marie,

This is an amazing image! I am seeing double, and then some! In the wintertime I see these common mergansers (Mergus merganser americanus) along the ocean shore here, for they come off the lakes then.
Right now of course sightings are rare along the salt waters.

I think the compo with the multiple reflections < above and below > is superb! Merci Jay.

Muy linda foto y especie de ave acuática, me gusta como se ve en movimiento suave y su reflejo en el agua. Solamente la hallo un poc suave de foco o nitidez, por lo demás está muy bien
