[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
The Garden Chafer is the smaller relative of the Cockchafer or May Bug. The thorax is sometimes almost black but is usually green. The elytra sometimes have green or blue iridescence. Adults abound in late June, when they chew the leaves of numerous plants and cause much damage to fruit trees. The larvae are like those of the cockchafer and they have the same habits, but they complete their life cycle in one year.

Hi Didier...
Technically well done...
I like those blurred 'moving'wings together with the sharp thorax.
Well done

Hi Didier,
Amazing shot of this garden chafer buzzing around. Breathtaking wing movement and immaculately sharp features. Prefect natural lighting and a superlative BG. I like your POV to portray this moment. Magnificently done. Very nicely composed. Kudos.

Excellent capture and beautiful picture, the composition and the BG colours are great.

Superbe et impressionnant ! L'efffet sur les ailes est génial. Bonne netteté sur la bestiole et un PdC tiptop qui a généré un fond agréable. Comme toujours, note instructive...
Bravo Didier et merci pour le partage,

Your pictures of insects taken in mid flight are amazing, Didier, and this one is no exception.
You have got this bug very sharp and clear in the face and the blurr of its wings captured at 1/400 adds aspecial charm to the picture.
TFS and regards.
