One can never tire of looking at this pretty butterfly, Anne.
I remember having shot a rather ramshackle specimen of it back home in India last year. It was my first literal brush with this butterfly, so I was very excited about shooting it.
Yours is a brilliant capture of this young and healthy specimen. The picture is perfect from every point of view.

Great close-up of this beautiful butterfly.Composition is little tight(IMNO) with good upper POV.Razor sharp details and very well saturated vivid colors.Pretty blurred BG worked here very well.Very good your macro work.

looking through your gallery I see so many lovely shots of butterflies and so picking one to review is not an easy thing to do.This one has excellent detail,colour and focus with a shallow field of depth that works well to blur out the majority of the flower it is resting on,so the eye lands on the butterfly.Here in Alberta we have a similar butterfly as well but I think that it is not native but from Europe originally.Tfs.
