Informative post. Nice detail on the parrot. I expect this bird is difficult to photograph because it's colors are somewhat dull. Focus is a bit soft on the eye. TFS
This is a nice image, accompanied by a good note!
Birds are always difficult to photograph when they sit on a lawn or something like that as it is hard to separate the bird from the background...
This little fellow comes with good details and fine colours!

I am always amazed at the colourful and varied species of birds from South Australia. Well captured in a difficult setting.It blends in well with it's surrounding.TFS

Hi John. Good to see this parrot which looks like a cousin of the Budgerigar (Melopsittacus undulatus, nicknamed budgie). The bird blends into the background grass, making it safer from predators. Very good note and the map showing where it ranges. tfs. Murray.

This one is well camoflaged in the grass. It is the same shape as many of our other parrots isn't it. Great image with good detail and it is cropped nicely.
