Grey Squirrel photographed at last light of the day.
I'm pretending to throw food to get it's attention...it's watching but not leaving the safety of the tree.

Hi John.
Love the lighting just on his face like this with still plenty of other evening light to see detail in his body and the tree.
Great composition with this pose, good thinking.Excellent DOF and detail perfect.
Does the grey squirrel come out at night. If it is nocternal and out at night this would be a great image for the theme I started 'Our World at night'
Wonderful image

Hi John,
really nice pose of this cute squirrell with a perfect sun shade effect really looks like Rembrandt painting, the dark bg adding some contrast to the main object, TFS

Fantastic funny shot John. Interesting object and pose. Excellent capture with good details.
Yes, I like it! Very well done
Regards, Krzysztof.

Beautiful lighting and great composition!

Great effect with the head jutted into the sunshine! I think you've captured his personality well. They can be confident, almost challenging sometimes.

Hi John,
Excellent photo. I thought at first it was some Photoshop jiggery pokery that had produced the lighting.
Lovely definition and sharpness. Nice when things work out when trying to entice a subject out.
Well done,

Great capture with perfect exposure giving a great compo
