Hi Joey,
Great composition here, and the colours and patterns in the bugs wings really go well with the flower its on.
It looks a bit like a kind of soldier fly, but I can't be sure.

Well now I see that your photography wings are growing bigger and quite the improvement when you first joined. This makes for an exciting picture, the colors really excite the senses on this one. and your becoming more skeptical of your DOF results which are improving the quality of your insect shots. You have captured the Bug from a side perspective and the details and colours are so clear it should be easy for a specialist to ID it for you, Joe.
It is an excellent capture with a shallow DOF at 3.5.
