Hello James,
Fantastic shot of this gregarious grouping of the Adelie penguins, it looks like a mountain soley constructed of penguins alone, I really enjoy this perspective. The exposure is right on the money. A big congratulations on your 100th posting. You have a very lucky dog, my dad hasn't even taken me to Romania. Have a safe trip. :)

Hi James
Wonderfull light and great compo!
Congratulation: 100 great picture from all over the world. Thanks for sharing your experience with us.
Tom
The geometric lines in this colossal view of a large colony of penguins make this picture quite unique, not to forget the location where you shot it, James.
These images you have captured so painstakingly in the course of your travels to the most unusual nooks and corners of the planet earth are of immense value in terms of documentation, coupled with a high degree of aesthetics.
How was your trip to Poland? So you are off to Scotland now -- for your pet's holiday, mainly. How very touching!
I had a female Cocker Spaniel (all golden) whom I loved more than anybody else in the world. She died when I left her behind with a relative before coming to the Middle East in Feb 2000. My wife and I were shattered.
Give your Westie a goot time out there and coddle her for me a bit, will you, James?
Regards.

What an amazing crowd shot of these penguins James. This is an excellent way to round out 100 though if you did a count, you might have had one bird per entry for your 1000th. Congratulations. Looking forward to many more.

Hello Paul,
At first congratulations for your 100th posting.
Once again such a surprising picture. Amazing how you can picture nature in a very geometrical way! I remember the picture of the Polar Bear on the ice. The Pinguin mountain you show here is just fabulous and a great contrast to the nude environnement. The chosen point of view is excellent. Thank's for all your interesting pictures

Dear James!
Scanned or digital - this is an amazing picture! Not only because it is the 100th! This colony is just fantastic! It looks for me like a "penguin mountain" not a place of breeding ;>
Great composition with fantastic deep DOF. I like a lot also panoramic POV.
Many thanks for showing this photo and my best congratulation because of 100th!

Hi James,
I've been away for some time and see you have been posting a lot whilst I was gone. I love the composition of this image. It has almost a surreal/abstract quality. It's just wonderful. Congratulations on #100. I'll be looking forward to the next 100. I wonder how many I have posted. I never think to check that!

When I was guiding in Antarctica a few years back I didn't get the chance to make it to Paulet Is. You are quite fortunate. And this is a beautiful, atypical capture of the place and species. Says a lot more about Adelies than a mere portrait would. REALLY nice work.

Hi James,
I like Your Antarrctica photos very much. I chose this one now, because it has nice contrast without blown out parts, plus there's a really big bunch of life on it. :) Reflection on the water is fantastic, as the whole with icebergs and penguins. Interesting photo. Congrats for the 100 - it's better later than never. :) Regards, László
