Fighting Nature

[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This photo taken through a smeary window of a plane from 20,000 feet of outback Western Australia, where from October to April day time temperatures range between 35 and 45 degrees celsius in the shade! Cyclones provide spasmodic rainfall and the country floods and turns into a fairyland of grasses, flowers and wildlife for a few weeks or months. That is a homestead in the middle of the photo, an isolated challenging dangerous lifestyle. |
