A photo taken in my garden, yesterday. The spider is shown from underneath and looks like he has a little face, grinning at me.

Lol, I spent a happy half hour yesterday photographing a garden spider as well, I will upload it at some stage.

I does look like a face on it's abdomen doesn't it!

Actually, there are two faces, on the abdomen and on the thorax. The top one is a sirian warrior, the bottom one an African death mask. Well done, I love these "images' and shapes in normalthings around us!

There is also very eerie-looking face if you view the abdomen from behind. I'll try and post a picture soon. I guess it is a defence to predators. Well seen Michael.
