Here, in lake Kerkini's northern shore. (The lake was formed in 1932, when a dam was built on Strymon river. It is the wildlife-richest habitat in Greece and one of the ten water-reserves protected by Ramsar Treaty.)

A nice subject to capture. But the details are not great but composition good. TFS.
Maybe the most beautiful member of the grebe family... The picture lacks some quality, maybe due to excesive postprocesing trying to increase sharpness┐?... But I know how difficult is to get pictures of these elusive birds! Marta
