Hi Jim,

A very lovely and unusual capture of the Monarch. I love the lighting and the deep colors of the butterfly and the pretty flower.

This is an area in which you rarely make mistakes. Very fine, color filled picture that almost teases th eye as if it were candy....

Hey Jim,
Great focus with fine edges and nice details! It is a very colorful image and that is appealing to most I think. For me, the colors are a little harsh (over-saturated), but it could be my monitor. Too bad the orange flower was in background, but we don't always get to choose our backgrounds. I like the composition. It would be nice to know your camera settings.
Best Wishes,

Hi Jim,
Wonderful shot of the Monarch with such rich colours and details. Superb lighting and the focus is abosolutely spot-on. I like its pose and set against the darkish BG it stands out pretty well. Excellent POV to show both the upper and lower sides of its wings. Very nicely composed. Kudos.
