What a wonderful shot!
Details and colors are great. DOF - too. Reflecting - I have no words...

Muy buenas Annick
Un gran retrato con reflejo incluido el que nos muestras de este bonito tigre.

So this poor fellow was escaping her that day was he?
superb composition, colours, contrasts, details and notes

Great natural color and clarity of focus.
Sweet composition. Not sure of the wide black frame.
Sweet lighting.
TFS Annick.

Tigers are the felines most likely to be found swimming. Most cats avoid getting wet, but tigers seem to enjoy it. This photo captures that emotion very well.

Hi Annick,
This is such a rare picture! You don't see this everyday! I just love the way the tiger's face reflects in the water. Great composition, POV and amazing sharpness.

Hi Annick,
A very good timed shot of this emperor playing in water. Nicely framed with very fine details. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hi Annick,
I know butterfly swim(stroke) but never heard of tiger swim before.;-)
You manage to get a great action of this beautiful cat with
good sharpness and fine details. Lovely coloura nd lighting.
The reflection is a good bonus.

Hi Annick,

What a fantastic opportunity you had to get this shot and you took full advantage of it. Just wonderful! I love his half closed eyes and the calm expression. The refection and the ripples in the water are superb. This should be in National Geographic.

Hi Annick,

Excellent image Annick,
I have one similar called "Not a Duck".
The tiger was moving in & out of shaded water areas. I ended up shooting at F/13 as I remember :(
I'm impressed with the image quality at ISO 1000.
Anyway, everything looks very nice.

Hermosa imagen Annick.
Buenos colores y estupendos reflejos...
¿Quién dijo que los gatos temen al agua?.
Un cordial saludo, JL.

Hi Annick,
What can one say about the quality of this picture but 'wow'.

Hi Annick,
Always a lgreat sight to see these big cats swimm and they love it.
Very beautiful image with most wonderful reflection.
The softness of the water surface surrounding the tiger is most wonderful to.Sharpness and lighting are excellent, but I did'nt expect anything else from you.
What surprices me is the ecceptional great performance of the 1D Mark III at ISO speed rating of 1000.
Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards,

ISO 1000! and no noise! What gives?! : ) It's a wonderful photo, Annick. The curve of the smooth ripples and the reflection make it special.

This looks like a prize winner to me! Beautiful shot! Great contrasts -- between the smooth silky water and the fluffy fur, between the orange and white tiger and the green water. I love it!

An excellent shot with great DOF and colours. A beautiful picture.
Best wishes,

Hello Annick

Hi Annick
Excellent shot of this beautiful tiger.
Great POV and good timing.
The theme isn't so common to me thets why I like it.
I love the wild photo but I'm very far from the wild life.
TFS and see you

Hi Annick

An outstanding shot! Look at that reflection and the tiger is just beautiful. Congrats! :-)

Unbelievably good shot - considering ISO 1000. Great color and detail! A Masterpiece! Hat's off to you! Cheers, Klaus

Hi Annick,
I am jealous! Where do you find time to take all these animals? I don't have time to write criticisms at each day, even less to make photograph…
Another very nice portrait with good lighting and sharpness. A little bit to much center?

Hi Annick,

What a wonderful shot with an excellent reflection and so very clear and sharp. Excellent control on the blacks and whites.

hi Annick
excellent shot with great DOF and colours.
best regards

Hello Annick.
What a lovely tranquil capture. Awesome sharpness and wonserful colour. Very beautiful reflections. And a good pano crop. Very well seen and well done.
Regards, Steve.

Hi Annick,
Grrrreat shot! Not often one sees a tiger swimming, apparently tigers are good swimmers. Sharp focus, perfect exposure, good POV, nice reflection. TFS this photo!

Quando la fotografia si fa arte. Bravo.

Very beautiful image with most wonderful reflection......

Hi Annick,

I am seeing this picture after more than three years of your posting...how could I miss this when I have seen most of your pictures.

This is simply too good. The reflection of tiger is adding to the beauty of the picture. I have gone through your note as well, and it seems there is no correction done in post processing. That's all the more interesting.

Thank you for sharing.
