Hi Annick,
What a fantastic opportunity you had to get this shot and you took full advantage of it. Just wonderful! I love his half closed eyes and the calm expression. The refection and the ripples in the water are superb. This should be in National Geographic.

Hi Annick,

Mich,
Excellent image Annick,
I have one similar called "Not a Duck".
The tiger was moving in & out of shaded water areas. I ended up shooting at F/13 as I remember :(
I'm impressed with the image quality at ISO 1000.
Anyway, everything looks very nice.

Hi Annick,
Always a lgreat sight to see these big cats swimm and they love it.
Very beautiful image with most wonderful reflection.
The softness of the water surface surrounding the tiger is most wonderful to.Sharpness and lighting are excellent, but I did'nt expect anything else from you.
What surprices me is the ecceptional great performance of the 1D Mark III at ISO speed rating of 1000.
Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards,
Harry

This looks like a prize winner to me! Beautiful shot! Great contrasts -- between the smooth silky water and the fluffy fur, between the orange and white tiger and the green water. I love it!

Hi Annick,
I am jealous! Where do you find time to take all these animals? I don't have time to write criticisms at each day, even less to make photograph…
Another very nice portrait with good lighting and sharpness. A little bit to much center?

Hi Annick,
I am seeing this picture after more than three years of your posting...how could I miss this when I have seen most of your pictures.
This is simply too good. The reflection of tiger is adding to the beauty of the picture. I have gone through your note as well, and it seems there is no correction done in post processing. That's all the more interesting.
Thank you for sharing.
Regards,
Vinay

Tigers are the felines most likely to be found swimming. Most cats avoid getting wet, but tigers seem to enjoy it. This photo captures that emotion very well.
