[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here's another shot of Redrock falls in the Swiftcurrent valley. I tried to insure I haven't clipped the bright spots, but white water in bright sunlight is pretty bright, even when underexposed by a full stop.

I was reading in my hiking guide that the Blackfeet's name for the valley was something like the land of 100 waterfalls.

PP: A contrast adjustment (reduction), resize, frame, and USM.

RP: I did some masking (with eraser! Thanks, Evelynn) to brighten the bg without burning the falls. On Evelynn's eye I also reduced the blue a bit.

Hello Mike,
You've done an excellent job on this one by not over exposing the water.
It's really great how well detailed it is.
Beautiful composition with lots of interresting details leading the eye through the scene.
Lovely color tones and contrast.
Thanks for sharing.
Have a nice Sunday,
Harry

Hello Mike,
It is better. Not that the original was bad or something.
The image is more 'relaxed' in away...
What is 'eraser' is it a photo editor or a CS3 tool or so...
Well done
TFS

Hi Mike,
The scenery and the landscape is breathtaking. Very well composed with fine POV, nice colors and exposure control. TFS
Best wishes,
Selen

Hello Mike,
A beautiful landscape, with the waterfall as the diamond in the crown!
I like the varied light and the fact you don't expose the water to make it look like whipped cream...
And there I discovered a person for scaling!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hi Mike,
This is a very nice place to be because this is a very nice waterfall.
Very nice composition with the bush on the left side and the different colours of green on the hill.
TFS Paula
