Starry Eyed Lady

She certainly has starry eyes, Jim.
Lovely clear focus of her whole body contrasting against the green blurred background. Girls know what brings out their best features.
It looks like there is a lattice-work of her wing shadow on her thorax. Lace frock? She really does look content.

Beautiful drgonfly image Jim.
Love the wonderful saturated colors and the way the dragonfly does stand out against the green colors in the background.
Excellent composition and sharpness and the details are lovely.
Only small minor point are the burn out spots on the twig of wich I think they can be adjusted in photoshop.
Thanks for sharing.
Have a nice day,

Another great dragonfly! Good color and saturation. The warm background adds even more to the image.
You must have found a special location to get these pictures. Funny how we all learn from each other so obviously. TN has a certain way about learning in this way.
Very nice capture. Perhaps I will try one if I can find one:-) Anyhoo...it meets all criteria which I can see as per dragonflies....

Another fine dragon shot from you!
The technical aspects are excellent and the BBG and composition are first class, making it a good illustrative shot for the female Roseate Skimmer.
TFS and best wishes, Ivan

Wow...what a fantastic shot of this Roseate Skimmer. Immaculate sharpness and colours and the textures on its body are awesome. Superb lighting and the focus is razor-sharp. Set against the green BG it stands out well as it perches elegantly. Excellent POV to portray it and a precise DOF. Very nicely composed. Kudos.
