[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Next my arrival to the town for few days and I am again here with the next post.

Short shooting story.
Now you can see the decision is accepted (see also previous post Decision making). Yes, the fox had decided to rush away. I am amazed as quickly the fox had processed a situation.

Some times ago I had written that I had some problems at the bird shooting (see note to my shot Hot Summer II or Jack-a-dandy). That is why I decided to photograph birds every day. When I live in countryside I go for a walk with camera every morning. The nature only wakes up, people are absent practically, birds are carefree enough and can admit to itself close. So I wander on soil roads between plots (these are our "streets") about an hour. Thus I have decently filled up the bird collection.

That morning I had seen from afar as a young fox whisks out from a road into the bushes. I had come nearer to that place on distance approximately 15 meters quickly also silently, took two shots (first of them have been posted by me as WS #1), and began to wait for its appearance. When it had appeared, I had had time to take only three pictures on a series mode (in all two single shots and three shots at the short series).

My previous shot was second (from series). Present one was third (and last). It means that fox had spent on the acceptance of a decision and the beginning of its realization less than 1/3 second. BRAVO, little fellow.

It is very interesting, but I know, what the fox searched there. It was the second circle made by me on the same route that morning. I was there half an hour earlier and took few another shots. I understand what fox so pulled there (I will tell you about it later.) Fox even came back to the road, looking to the bushes (see WS #2, this shot is first from my triple series). That is why fox had noticed me so late and I became the owner of a series of cute pictures.

Later I plan to show another strategy of decision making in such situations and explain what the fox was searching in the bushes.

Hi Alexei

The focus here is outstanding. I also really like the colours. The pose is, however, quite exceptional.

The "decision" is conveyed very clearly in the posture of the Red Fox, Alexei. It also comes out strongly in those distrusting eyes.
Another great fox picture from your camera.
Thanks for sharing it and warm regards.

You might have been amazed about the quickness of the fox, but I am impressed by your very quick reaction to the situation.
You've cought the fox in a most wonderful pose just after he desided to run off.
Fantastic sight to see how the fox giving you a last view before it turned around and went away.
Technically flawless image again with superb, clarity, sharpness and lighting.
Due to that the soft colors and details in the fur are very beautiful.

Belle photo de ce renard qui hésite vraiment pour ce qui est du sens de sa fuite, sur la photo précédente il n' avait pas l' air effrayé,mais sur celle ci,l' inquiétude dans son regard. Amitiés Thomas
