After confined at home for two days I was allowed to sit at my favourate balcony. The air, clouds, flowers etc... everything look charming to me. With a cup of coffee I was talking to them, asking them how they were? All of a sudden the butterfly appeared.Just to console me, my better-half kept my camera beside the chair.I am not a butterfly expert, theoretically or clicking them. But I took the picture as an evidence of the aeonian charm. The picture is un-sharp like my health and I will not mind to listen the 'doctors advice'.

Hi Parthasarathi,
In this case I'm not sure it mattersr that the insect is unsharp. You've caught him coming in for a landing - I've not seen a picture like it! It's sharp enough and, regardless, the blurryness is MOST effective in giving the photo movement. His markings are gorgeous. Superb capture! Congrats. Hope you will be feeling better soon!

This is a very good picture! You have done well to shoot this and being a photographer who just loves butterflies i just know how difficult it is to get this and your effort deserves five stars :-).
This is "Common Lime" butterfly which also known as "Citrus Swallowtail"

Dear Parthasarathi,
Animals, so also this wonderful butterfly do react on peoples condition/situation and therefore it came to you and showed of his great flying abilities.
This really is a perect capture wich not many photographers did shoot so very well.
Composition is perfect and the color contrast most wonderful.
The butterfly is as sharp as it has to be and the movement in the wings does give it a lovely sence of action.
Only thing that gould be improved in my opinion is the lighting.
The image is a little to dark/under exposed.
What I did is a little WS on the image.
Hope you like it.
Thanks for sharing and the very good note.
Best wishes,

hello mr partsarthi,
what a nice moment you have captured here, the butterfly is on the landing gears, perfect timing to shoot this difficult shot,
well done,
tfs & regards

Amazing what one can do on their own balcony. Otherwise it might have been harder to get a in flight shot combined with flora you appreciate. I may have to try the same now that my ride has left. Your camera work is still going strong.

Amazing capture, great shot with superb composition.
well done.

Hi Mr. Partha,

Partha Sir, Excellent and how you managed to catch it on the move. The wings are slightly OOF but understandable. You have produced a super shot here. Ganesh

This is a wonderful shot. I've never managed a butterfl in flight. Impressive!!!

I hope you're getting better. You're in our thoughts and prayers.

Hello Parthasarathi,
I'm glad this butterfly came to cheer you up while not feeling well! It'sd a very beautiful capture! The composition is wonderful and very artistic, colours are beautiful and never mind the blurr, the focus is on the proboscis just being extended to meet the flower! Very well done!
Many thanks and regards, Ulla

HI Part!
Quite a catch in flight, nice timing and great view, too bad it's so hard to get this moment sharper, but I love the action and movement shown on this photo, like matrix :)!TFS!
