Honey Bee

I took stacks of pictures of the various bees in their daily activity. This one came out well showing the honey sacks on its legs

I cropped, applied a small amount of USM and altered the highlights and contrast a tad to make it more life like.

Crits are welcome please. Thanks. Tim

An incredible Macro shot, great detail. The flower is really vibrant as well.
Well done and thanks for posting.

Nice composition, good colours and contrast. Focus a wee-bit soft on the bee.
Well done.

Nice macro Tim.
Good colours and compostion. It's a bit soft and the DOF is shallow, but still a nice picture.
Well done.

A nice macro shot. The colors are great, and the tight framing is perfect. I agree that it just needs more DOF and sharpness. Good Work!

I don't think F11 would have made an noticable improvement. F9 should be enough for most of the bee. I am guessing... but I think the focus point was not on the bee but on the flower or you had some movement. (sturdy tripod? or use the timer or remote shutter) The composition is fine and the exposure also. Well done.
