[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Three pictures, presented as WS #1, original shot and WS #2, describe the reaction of the Hare on our meeting (see Hare: Decision making II) and its first decision.

Having begun movement (WS #1), the hare had seen an obstacle and had started to brake (original shot). A continuous wire fence blocked the way to it. Then the hare had stopped and begun to sit in meditations again (WS #2).

In such pose he sat few seconds and I have had time to make some more similar pictures in series mode.

And then all has begun…
(See next series soon.)

P.S. I should note, that our character did all this rather slowly, than I have been strongly puzzled firstly. Only later I have understood the reasons of such its behavior.

Hi Alex
He looks suprised :-) Nice serie. Good exposure in a sunny day with bright light. I think that you could crop it a little bit more to make the subject more prominent and to cut the green thing in a right down corner.
Best wishes
Krzysztof

Hello Alexei,
I must say that pose is very special. I think he's just showing off his long legs (having shown the long ears before!):-) Excellent capture in beautiful light. Great DOF, sharp details and lovely colours. Only tiny snag is the green grass in the right bottom corner that I would have removed, otherwise perfect!
TFS and best wishes, Ulla

Hi Alexei,
Wonderful series of shots showing very natural behaviour of this Hare. Fabulously controlled lighting and exposure and you have portrayed some fine poses here. I like the startled expression on its eyes and the sharp details. Excellent POV and a precise DOF. Very nicely composed. Kudos.

Hello Alexei,
Great pose!
You caught this decision-making hare at a fine moment, the new decision just being made and shown by the position and pose of the legs - brilliant!
The sharpness is first class, as is the lighting and composition, the hare contrastin well aganst the sandy BG provided by the path.
Well done and TFS!
Ivan

bonjour alex

Hi Alexei,
He has very long legs, and the pose you captured looks funny :o) I liked the expression you caught a lot. Good lighting and colors. TFS
Best wishes,

The series continued in the WS makes this isolated shot stand out as the most eloquent moment of indecision on the part of the animal, Alexei.
The expression in the eyes so well captured in the shot brings forth that moment very effectively.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful series and best regards.

Hola Alexei.
La primera vez que veo una lieble con unas piernas tan largas.Muy buena toma, con mucha nitidez.Un saludo.

This is an amazing animal! It is very different from our Canadian hare; it looks much bigger or maybe this is because of this POV. I like this guy very much :) This is an excellent pose captured with great details and exposure. I'm amazed by this expression, it looks frozen :) You showed us nice pictures in WS too. Thanks for this nice and interesting post!

Hello dear Alexei,
What a nice guy, he is funny in this pose. Good idea the WS... In french we say "Oups" ;-)
The "+++" : subject, POV, sharpness, DOF, warm colors, exposure, useful complementary note...
The "-" : nothing...

Hi Alexei

I love these animal shots with their perfect titles that illustrate moments in life.

This is a great pose. He looks all legs. You can see the hestitation and the back-tracking on the movements alreay made. Wonderfully sharp shot with a great POV and a perfect exposure.

Yes, he definitely is thinking "Oops, wrong move!" That is the longest legged rabbit I have ever seen. I think I would crop out the green in the lower right corner. It may distract from the hare. Sharpness and exposure look really good.

Hi Alexi,
I think I like his pose in workshop #2 the best. A natuarl looking pose. Spot on exposure has colors and detail looking excellent. He has some very loooong legs.

Hi!
Nice picture with good sharpness.I like the small leave on the lower right,it creates depth to the whole picture.

Hello my friend

Looks a little skinny does it not - not much meat on this one:-0.

As allways a very acurate exposed capture. The colours look very natural and the the sharpness/dof is spot on. Personal I would prefere the hare a little more in the lower left but that of course is a personal matter.

I like the picture and the attitude looking a little allerted and somehow what am I doing here - should I run or is this creature with the funny thing harmless.

Have a nice weekend

It must be not easy to shoot at a hare with such large legs, I guess. Surely they run off easily. But here you did a marvellous capture. I'm eager to know the reasons.
Fantastic shot!

The pose of the hare is perfect, so we can see his long legs that allow him to run so fast. Excellent details, beautiful natural colors, excellent compostion and POV. Very well done !
