|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|I was sea kayaking in an estuary several miles from Ketchikan, Alaska, a few weeks ago. This lesser sandpiper (that's what I think it is) was sitting on a log and as we passed by it hopped on to one of our kayaks and stayed with us for about a quarter of an hour. Then as we passed its log again, off it hopped. |
A little cropping and a touch of layers and hues and sharpening.
Have been away from the Trek sites for about a year but hope to be back submitting and critiquing images again. I see many of my old favourite photographers are still at it with amazing images still pouring forth.
There is a unique international cameraderie in these sites....let's keep it going.

I think it is a Sandpiper. Quite convinced. However the species?
Depicted sharp with a good pose.
A bit puzzled about the boat...
